Our History
Lake Gray Estates, established in 2023, is a breathtaking venue built by a Bride for Brides. The venue is located at what was once Montana's childhood home and was transformed into a wedding venue for her own wedding. During the construction of her dream venue, she knew that Lake Gray Estates was too beautiful to not share with other couples. Now a husband and wife team with a passion for making other couples weddings as magical and memorable as their own. Our happily ever after started here and so can yours.
The Sequoia Pavilion has more history than it seems at first glance. The Sequoia Pavilion is named after the USS Sequoia, the former presidential yacht that was utilized during the administrations of Herbert Hoover through Jimmy Carter. The grand steel beams that make the pavilion what it is are the very same beams that the USS Sequoia rested upon when at port in Deltaville, VA.
Our Location
45 minutes from Richmond located in the Northern Neck of Virginia rests the peaceful property of Lake Gray Estates. Have your wedding out in the middle of nowhere but in the center of everything, enjoy the peace and quiet of country life but the convenience of the surrounding localities. Only a 15 minute drive from the beautiful and historic towns of Tappahannock and Warsaw.

At Lake Gray Estates we are passionate about making your wedding dreams come true. Enjoy our stunning ceremony space punctuated by a beautiful stone aisle that starts as a walk through the striking nature on the property and ends with a grand reveal for all your guests. The 15 acre private lake is an astonishing background for your ceremony. We love including the beauty of the outdoors in our events, which is why our stunning steel pavilion is exposed on all sides and surrounded by the beauty of the property. With the additional use of the outdoor spaces, we can make your wedding feel either romantic and intimate or elegant and grand. With such a transitional space we can bring a variety of decor styles to life, whether industrial elegance or southern rustic is your dream we can make anything happen even the in between.
